Nope, no baby yet. 🙂

Today is my due date. Most of your Baby Poll guesses have come and gone (as have my own guesses). Seems that this baby just wants to keep us all guessing! LOL!

I just don't have anything that I really felt like posting for this morning, but I knew that if I posted nothing, I would get a slew of emails and phone calls wondering if something had happened! To set your minds at ease, nothing is happening, but I simply needed a day off.

I promise, I will post as soon as I can when something happens! Until then, I'm going to take a day to finish up the last of some household projects, and if baby still isn't here, then the next day my MIL and I are going to take the kids out for a day of fun somewhere. I need all the distraction I can get!

I'll be back soon with a real post, I promise!

  1. I know your due date can be hard when you don’t have a baby in your arms….I was just there a few weeks ago. Our little guy made us wait 9 days late! Hope yours doesn’t do that to you! Relax & enjoy as much as you can 🙂

  2. Oh indeed it is difficult waiting. The anticipation and then the unknown of when the baby will burst on the scene keep us on our toes. I am thankful it is much cooler now so I won’t be labouring in such heat. As well, I am trying to cherish these last days with just the five of us. I worry I won’t have much attention for the older three when baby arrives. In fact, I know the cuddles, times reading and walks to the river will be far fewer in the first month. I will trust that baby will come when he/she and the rest of us are ready. In His time…

  3. Good for you, take a break! You deserve it. I’ve never made it to a due date. I always go about 2 weeks early and even then I am SOOOOOOOO ready.

  4. That is hard for sure! My first was 9 days late (well 16 days late according to the LMP, but I know from charting it was 9 days late) and my second was on her due date. With the second I went out of my way to try not to tell people the due date since I was sure the baby would be late. LOL.

Maybe the baby is waiting for it to cool down a bit there for an easier labour! 🙂 Hang in there…

  5. Thanks for keeping us updated. I can’t wait to see pictures and hear stories about the birth! I am praying for you and your baby

  6. Hang in there! I only went to 38 and 39 weeks with my girls – I can only imagine how impatient I would have been to watch my due date come and go!

  7. Delurking to say…tomorrow would be a good day to have a baby. It was for us 10 years ago…my 2nd was born 8-6-99 at 6:47: )

Best wishes, you will be in our prayers…

  8. Since there is no comments on the ebook post, I’ll say it here. I bought the ebook, and I really like it. For those of you who are benefitting from this blog, we should try to support it by buying the book, don’t you think? I would recommend it.

  9. Aww, thanks Jena for the sweet recommendation. I’m so glad you like it. 🙂
