Coke, anyone?

I just couldn’t resist linking to this very detailed description of what happens to our body when we drink a Coke.

Personally, I used to be addicted to pop, but about 5 years ago I made a clean break and I honestly can barely even stand it now (see, it’s possible for you, too and doesn’t it make you feel better to know that I used to eat really poorly- anyone can change!!!).

Hat tip to my sweet mother-in-law, who’s just started a great blog recently. It’s called Lifestyle of Learning, and she has so much wisdom to offer in nutrition, homeschooling, and so much more. So why don’t you go on over and meet Janet, and find out what a great deal I got when I got married- the best hubby ever, and such an amazing godly Mom.

  1. My sister has 2 boys with OI (bone disease where they break bones very easily). Their doctor said – absolutely NO COKE because he said it causes little holes in growing bones making them even weaker. If this is true… YIKES! Just the sugar explaination alone is scary enough.

    Cheers!

  2. Coke is scary stuff. I stopped drinking pop over three years ago and do not miss it at all. The last time I had a sip, the drink tasted just awful to me, and made me really wonder why I ever drank pop!

Thank you for sharing your MIL’s blog. All of the information she is sharing looks fascinating!
