Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end…

Isaiah 9:6,7

Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas, as we celebrate the Savior!

There will be one more post before Christmas, as Erin shares tomorrow with some helpful suggestions for taking and making the most of a personal retreat for the New Year. Then I will be taking a few days off for the holidays, spending time with my family.

We’ll be back to more regular posting on Tuesday, December 27th. In the New Year, we’ve got all sorts of great topics planned, including:

  • The launch of my upcoming eBook on menu planning
  • Getting your finances under control
  • Ways to save money on healthy foods, household and beauty items, and so much more
  • An mp3 interview with Budget Saving Mom, full of money-saving ideas from her new book
  • Review and giveaway of the book, The Money Saving Mom’s Budget
  • Being a work-at-home mom and learning to balance it all
  • Getting ready for baby- having a fit pregnancy, natural baby care, and some other baby-related topics in February
  • March will feature cooking-from-scratch tutorials, traditional kitchen basics, tips for cooking efficiently, and finding the time to make wholesome foods.

I’m excited to begin another new year here at Keeper of the Home! Thank you all for making this past year so fantastic. It is such a joy to run this site, to partner with such incredible writers, and to be in community with all of the readers here.

Merry Christmas to you all!

How will you be spending the holidays this year?

  1. I’m glad to see you will be posting about how to save money on healthy foods. It’s easy to save on the processed foods, but not so much with the food that’s actually good for you.

The holidays is my husband’s busy time at work, so I am looking forward to celebrating Christmas with my family after the actual day.

Thanks for sharing your wisdom and have a Merry Christmas!

    1. Yes, there’s so much information out there about how to save on less healthy foods, but not nearly enough about how to make healthy, wholesome foods more affordable. It’s a topic I love to share about! 🙂

      Have a wonderful Christmas!

  2. Merry Christmas to you all too! I really enjoy your blog and all the things I learn on it. I saw that you will be discussing pregnancy in the new year and was wondering if you could do a few blogs in that series on health post pregnancy. I had a difficult time recovering physically postpartum. and while there are a ton of info out there for how to take care of your baby, etc there is not a whole lot on things to help build back your body and health after having a baby!:)

    1. Yes, I think that we will be talking at least a little bit about post-partum recovery. You’re right- there’s often so much about the pregnancy and then not much about afterwards!

  3. Merry Christmas to you:) Enjoy your time off! I too am looking forward to all the new blessings coming in 2012!

I am especially looking forward to this series!
