My feed is still being ornery

Thank you all for your incredible, undeserved patience as I have switched my blog over, yet again, and am having feed issues, yet again!

I am working very hard this time to keep you from having to subscribe to a new feed, though at the moment I am thinking that this feed's days are about to come to a close.

From what I can tell in Bloglines, the feed is only half updating. It's currently a day behind, post-wise, and although it was showing my new sub-title earlier, now I'm seeing my old one again. When I try to subscribe using my button or subscribe page, it shows my blog as it was two months ago, when I had switched it over to WordPress. Sigh…

Would you mind taking a minute to tell me what you are seeing on your end, if you use a reader to view my blog? Is the feed even working, and if so, what posts are coming up at the top? Has anyone else successfully switched a feed when switching blog platforms and do you have any tips to share with me?

And if all else fails and this is not straightened out by tomorrow, I promise, I will set up a new feed, and I thank you profusely in advance for taking the time to subscribe to the new one! I've been trying to save you all the hassle, so let's give it one more day to see if I can succeed in doing that!

  1. I don’t know much about blogs but I was going to let you know that on my computer I can see your new heading at the top and then at the side is your picture from your old blog. This is the newest post with the next one being the reminder for the say no to kraft dinners. Hope you get everything worked out I know it can be very frustrating.

  2. I get posts from 1 month ago…wait, I just went back to check for titles of posts and now the feed is giving me “Q&A – Healthy Eating in Social Situations” as the most recent. I guess as you are working on it I am getting different results from the feed.?

  3. I’ve tried updating it a couple of times, but it doesn’t seem to be pulling it in. I either see the stuff from a couple months ago or it’s showing the post from two days ago or something. Right now it’s not updating anything. I just come on over to see what’s new!

  4. I use Feedreader (version 3.09, if that even matters) and the last update that I am getting is your thoughts on sunscreen part two. I tried to force an update, but it isn’t coming through.

Consider me a loyal subscriber so I will definitely resubscribe if needed.

We had some feed problems a few weeks ago and it was horrible. I had hardly any comments and it was very frustrating. If you hadn’t commented, I wouldn’t have headed over here to find out what was going on 😉 Thanks for the comment and here’s hoping you get your kinks worked out.

    Hugs!!

  5. I use bloglines and today I showed 10 unread posts for you. Clicking through shows posts from Mar 31st to April 9th. Of course I also had several later posts I’ve marked to “keep as new”. Several because you share a lot of recipes and such worth keeping handy. Keep up the good work. You’ll get your feed figured out eventually. 🙂

  6. The last step to show up in my reader (I use Google Reader) was the one on Baby steps from May 28. I finally just realized today that I hadn’t heard anything new from you for several days, so I clicked to your website. Now I have some catching up to do!!

  7. I feel so behind 🙂 I didn’t realize your feed wasn’t working and so I thought I’d check your actual blog and look at all this great stuff. I use bloglines and am not getting any of your new stuff. Hope you’re able to get it figured out, but I’ll keep reading on your blog until it gets fixed. 🙂

  8. I had the same problem as Toni. I use bloglines and this morning it told me you had 10 new posts – the most recent being April 9…. that was in bloglines, but when I clicked and actually went to your blog it was all correct. I have been having trouble with it loading VERY slowly though.

Silly feeds. Hope you figure out what’s going on and that it’s an easy fix for you. I know you don’t need more headaches.
