The sweetest of blessings

This was taken the other morning, when Abbie wanted to hold Caden. He doesn’t look too thrilled in this picture, but he actually enjoyed being held by her, and as you can see, she’s just delighted.

I would have to say this is one of the most rewarding and beautiful aspects of having a second child (aside from just enjoying the unique little person that they are). I am watching a lifelong bond develop, and a very special relationship is unfolding before my very eyes.

Not only are my children a gift and a blessing to me, but also to each other. Abbie delights in making her little brother smile and laugh, and Caden is Abbie’s most adoring fan. I wouldn’t trade staying at home to watch them learn to love each other for any thing else in the world.

    Hello. i just found your blog and i noticed you have a Dave Ramsey thing on your sidebar! We are taking the Financial Peace University course at our church and it is wonderful!!! We don’t have much debt or anything..but it is really teaching us how to save etc!! Did you take the class too?
