A stunning apartment building I stumbled upon while walking one day here in Salta, Argentina.

Links I loved this week:
Anti-Frantic @ Shauna Niequist
Top 5 Ways to Curb Your Appetite @ The Humbled Homemaker (goodness knows I need to remind myself of these tips… while traveling, I really struggle with giving in to eat things I normally wouldn’t eat, or just eat too much in general. Neither one is good.)
How to Get Started With Essential Oils @ A Delightful Home
4 Ways to Display Children’s Artwork @ DIY Your Way (surely I’m not the only one who struggles to know what to do with the myriad masterpieces I receive from my little budding Van Goghs and Monets, am I? The art cabinet tends to overfloweth.)
The Prosperity Gospel and Your Health @ Visionary Womanhood
Daily Affirmations for Kids @ Playful Learning
4 Herbal Remedies to Relieve Itchy Skin @ Growing Up Herbal (it’s winter for most of us still, and along with winter often comes dry, itchy skin. Perhaps some of these natural solutions might be helpful for you?)
What I’m doing: Exploring the Northwest Argentinian countryside with my family and some friends of ours. Earlier this week, we visited the incredibly gorgeous and surreal salt flat, Salinas Grandes, as well as spent a day in Tilcara, a small dessert town complete with Incan ruins. At the moment, we’ve gone a bit south to Cafayate (which is remarkably similar looking to Arizona with its red earth and stone formations), as well as Quilmes, another site with ancient ruins.
In just one short week, we’ll be leaving Salta, where we’ve been these past 3 weeks, in order to head down to the southernmost tip of South America (penguins and icebergs, here we come). The time has flown by and we’re a bit sad to be leaving, but full of anticipation for the next steps in our journey as well!
